Science Live

Would you like to be a test subject in real scientific research? Then take part in Science Live, NEMO's innovative research programme. Science Live is an ongoing project in which real scientists come to NEMO to find many test subjects of different ages and backgrounds for their research. Depending on the type of research, Science Live is suitable for both adults and children.

Fake news uncovered

Dive into fake news on social media. In this quiz by Erasmus University, you'll unravel how fake news spreads and test whether you recognize fake news. By doing so, you will learn to reason and draw conclusions like a scientist.

How do we learn to move?

Do you sometimes draw? In this experiment, you draw invisible circles and hear if they are the right size or not.  This way the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam studies how you use successes to improve your drawings.

How much do you resemble a carrot?

Did you know that your skin can tell how much fruit and vegetables you consume? With a simple finger scan, your ‘fruit and veggies score’ can be determined. Join this study by Maastricht University with your parents or companions and find out which of you eats the most fruits and vegetables!
