In the new Studio at the Marineterrein
What will you be having for breakfast, lunch or dinner in 2050? Where will this food be sourced? And how will it be prepared? Edible insects? A hamburger made from cultured meat? Or powders based on your DNA profile? It may sound far-fetched, but with a growing world population we must carefully consider how to grow our food in the future. At the Future Food exhibition you will get an insight into your future meals based on plantbased, animal based and functional food scenarios.
Besides a visit to the exhibition you can also participate in workshops such as Tasting insects, Test your nose and Develop your future recipe. Workshops are held in both Dutch and English.
Evening programme on Wednesdays
In addition to a visit to the exhibition, you can also attend various workshops, lectures and other events on Wednesday evenings. Please note most of these activities are held in Dutch. You can find the full programme here.
