Conference venue in Amsterdam
NEMO is the ideal venue for your conference. Its multifunctional spaces can accommodate large groups, and can be combined for plenary and breakout sessions. The museum also provides a unique setting centred on science and technology. Located on the Oosterdok in the centre of Amsterdam, NEMO is easy to reach by public transport.
Conference spaces
All conference spaces are located next to each other on the same floor, making it easy to move between large plenary sessions and smaller breakout sessions.
Auditorium
The auditorium accommodates up to 190 people. It is ideal for plenary sessions, while also providing an excellent setting for breakout sessions. The space is equipped with advanced technology, including a 4K projector, a cinema-sized projection screen, microphones, headsets and an interactive Catchbox.
Theater
The theater is a large open-plan space that can be configured to suit your needs. Whether used for a plenary session, an interactive workshop or a creative breakout session, the theatre can accommodate up to 150 people.
Boardroom
Situated between the Auditorium and the Theater, the boardroom is suitable for smaller groups of up to 30 people. It can be used as a breakout space or as a backstage or preparation area for speakers and crew.
Museum cafe
The Museum Cafe can serve as a central meeting point and connects directly to the auditorium, theatre and boardroom. Guests can gather here on arrival, enjoy coffee during breaks or sit down for a catered lunch.
