Facilities
There is a lactation room on the third floor of the museum.
NEMO has small lockers where you can store your belongings. You can operate these lockers with a 50-cent coin or a NEMO coin.
It isn't possible to store a suitcase.

Your visit
NEMO is suitable for all ages. However, keep in mind that some activities are only for visitors aged 6 and over.
NEMO is a museum for all ages. It provides a fun and educational experience for both adults and children.
You purchase a ticket with a start time, but you can take as long as you want. You are welcome to stay for a few hours or until the museum closes.
NEMO issues tickets with start times to spread the number of visitors to the museum throughout the day. There are generally fewer visitors from 14:00 on weekdays and outside the school holidays.
In addition to permanent exhibitions, NEMO also has workshops and demonstrations. Additional activities are scheduled during school holidays and on public holidays.

NEMO is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:30. During school holidays, on public holidays and from April to September, NEMO is also open on Mondays.
NEMO stores found objects, but only temporarily. Did you lose something at the museum? Send an email to info@e-nemo.nl.
At present, NEMO does not offer any packages or special programmes for children’s birthday parties. But of course you are very welcome to visit NEMO with a group of children. To make sure of a place, go online to buy or book tickets with a start time in advance.
Tickets
A ticket for visitors from 4 years old costs €21.50 per person. For a full list of admission prices, go to the Plan your visit page.
Booking your ticket online guarantees you admission to NEMO on the day of your choice. The ticket counter only sells tickets that are still available on the day.
You are welcome to print your ticket but you can also show your ticket on your phone to gain admission.
You can only buy a ticket at the ticket counter if they are still available. If you want to be sure of admission at your preferred date and time, it is recommended to buy or book your ticket online.
It's easy to change an online ticket with the self-service tool. Enter one of the ticket numbers from your order. This number usually starts with 77.
When you submit your change request, you will receive an email with a link that enables you to select a new date and time. The tickets with the new date and time will also be sent to you by email once you have completed this process.
Consult Ticket Support to submit a request to cancel your ticket. Refund requests will be processed within 30 working days.
Not at all: arriving early or late is not a problem.
Yes, admission is free for holders of a Museumkaart. Book a ticket online and show your booking and your Museumkaart when you enter the museum. Without a valid Museumkaart, you will be charged the full rate.
To make sure you can visit NEMO on the date and at the time of your choice, it’s best to book your ticket online. Your discount card or entrance pass will be checked at the entrance along with your booking. Without a valid pass or card, you will be charged the full rate.
NEMO only offers CJP and student discounts. With a CJP card, student card or University Card, a ticket for NEMO costs €14. You can visit the museum free of charge if you have a Museumkaart, VriendenLoterij VIP card, Stadspas or I amsterdam City Card.
Yes, if you accompany someone who would be unable to visit the museum independently, admission is free.

NEMO does not have a specific package for schoolchildren who want to give a talk about the museum. But the NEMO Science Museum website contains all kinds of information about the museum, including further details about the building, the history of NEMO and what's on at the museum.
