Guide dogs allowed
Registered guide dogs are welcome at NEMO.

Personal assistants are welcome at NEMO. NEMO itself does not supply personal guides.

You are free to explore NEMO in whichever order you like and choose what you do.
Each level in the museum has interactive exhibits that stimulate all the senses. A NEMO employee can tell you which exhibits are suitable for visitors with visual, auditory or physical disabilities.

Accessible lift
NEMO is accessible for wheelchair, rollator walker and mobility scooter users. The museum has one wheelchair available for rental. Please reserve by e-mailing info@e-nemo.nl.
Each level of the museum is served by lifts. One of the workbenches in the Laboratory is also fully height-adjustable.

Toilets at NEMO are wheelchair-accessible, apart from those on the third level. All of our accessible toilets have an access space of at least 80 cm on one side. They are also fitted with grab bars and washbasins designed for disabled users.

Accessible font size (18 pt or larger)
The texts in the Technium exhibition (level 2) are font size 18 pt. This font size will be used on other levels in the future.
The route to and from NEMO is not safely accessible for visually impaired people. If you are visually impaired, you should not walk this route without assistance. We advise you to ask someone with normal sight to assist you, or to take a taxi from the station to NEMO.

Some exhibits in Phenomena (first floor) contain flashing lights. This may affect visitors with photosensitive epilepsy. The following exhibits contain flashing lights:
