SAIL at NEMO
The 10th edition of SAIL Amsterdam will be held from 20 to 24 August. NEMO will be hosting four evenings of live music on Rooftop Square, overlooking the harbour. The line-up on Saturday 23 August: Clyde Alright, Luc Burghout and the Amstel Gospel Choir.
Programme
Clyde Alright
Clyde Alright is a versatile artist with roots in R&B, hip hop and pop. Following a successful career as part of the group Keshaw, he’s now embarked on his own musical journey blending hip hop, rock, funk and synth pop into a high-energy show.
Luc Burghout
After starting out as a soundman, Luc quickly realised that the stage was his true calling. A surprise performance by Dutch singer Yves Berendse at his birthday party inspired him to take voice-coaching lessons. His very own live gigs soon followed. A regular performer at the Amsterdam Terrassen Festival, Luc will be showing off his vocal talents at NEMO this evening.
Amstel Gospel Choir
The Amstel Gospel Choir lights up any stage with uplifting gospel songs, modern pop and moving ballads. Spurred on by musical director Vladimir Pairel, these passionate singers are on a mission to change the world for the better through the power of music, combining a joyful stage presence with evocative tunes.
Summer on the roof
In July and August, the rooftop square will be open until 21:00 on Thursdays and Fridays, with live music on Thursdays. During SAIL from 20 to 23 August, you can enjoy free musical performances every evening. The restaurant will be serving food and drinks all evening. The rooftop can be accessed via the steps on the outside of the building or the lift in NEMO’s entrance hall.
