Every Thursday, the rooftop of NEMO is transformed into a stage for exciting live acts. Enjoy free entry, summer vibes and the best views in Amsterdam and summer vibes. On Thursday 9 July, Flevoland and Cavolo Nero bring together absurd geo-pop and psychedelic dance grooves.

Two lads, one absurd idea: a boy band inspired by the most artificial province of the Netherlands. Their geo-pop sounds as flat and surreal as the landscape itself – catchy, trance-like and unexpectedly profound.
Cavolo Nero
Cavolo Nero breaks down genre boundaries with psychedelia, funk, disco and afrobeat, inviting you into their ‘mountain disco’ – a place where your worries melt away and the grooves take over.
Summer on Rooftop Square
From 25 June until the end of August, the rooftop will be open every Thursday until 21:00, with free live music.It can be reached via the large staircase on the outside of the building or by lift from the museum’s entrance hall. At the bottom of the rooftop, a kiosk with its own seating area also serves drinks and snacks.

In collaboration with GRAP
The rooftop music evenings are organised in collaboration with Stichting GRAP, the organisation for Amsterdam’s pop music scene. Every year, GRAP organises competitions, showcases and festivals. This gives Amsterdam-based bands and acts the opportunity to showcase their talent to the public, the media and the music industry.
