Summer on Rooftop Square
Enjoy NEMO’s iconic Rooftop Square this summer! From 25 June to 29 August, the rooftop will stay open until 21:00 every Thursday. Expect live music, a relaxed summer atmosphere and one of the best views of Amsterdam. Join us for yoga, film and, of course, great food and drinks. Admission is free.

Rooftop Square is open daily from 10:00 to 17:30. During the summer, it remains open until 21:00 on Thursdays. Admission is free. Access the rooftop via the large staircase on the outside of the building or take the lift from the entrance hall.
What's on?
Live music
Artists from a wide range of genres will keep the rooftop buzzing, from psychedelic rock to disco and new wave. Starting 25 June, every Thursday from 17:30 to 21:00. Admission is free.
Outdoor yoga
Start your day feeling refreshed with relaxing outdoor yoga sessions. Suitable for all levels.
Great food and drinks
The rooftop is home to the Museum Restaurant and the Conservatory bar, with a large adjacent outdoor seating area where you can enjoy delicious homemade meals, snacks and drinks. At the bottom of Rooftop Square, next to the butterfly garden, you will find another outdoor seating area with a refreshment kiosk.
Cinema on Rooftop Square
On Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August, the rooftop will transform into a large open-air cinema. Enjoy a selection of classic films with a spark of science during these special film evenings.
